Swap Shop

The Swap Shop is located in the yellow building at the corner of the school parking lot. There are baskets set up outside the front door of the Swap Shop for swaps coming in and going out.

We would prefer that all donations are left in these baskets and not in the school office.

Extended Day Program

The Extended Day Program serves St. Bridget School students in grades Pre-K through 8. It extends the excellence of each child’s school experience into before and after school time. There is encouragement and support for learning good social skills and study habits as well as some playtime.

This program serves as a bridge between home and school. It provides a balance of meaningful social and recreational opportunities. It also provides a safe and structured environment, one that is informal and homelike and that responds to the student’s emerging needs and interests. For the afternoon session, a snack is provided and a quiet area is staffed for students to study and begin homework. There is also supervised free play and time outdoors as weather permits. The program’s goal is to establish partnerships with parents and the school community to ensure that the needs of the whole child are met.

The Extended Day Program operates only when school is in session. It does not meet during vacations or if school is cancelled. The extended hours are 7:00 a.m. to 8:30a.m. and  3:20 p.m. to 5:30p.m. for all regular school days. On early dismissal days 1:20 to 5:30p.m..  When school is delayed the program is delayed until 9:00 a.m. If school is dismissed early due to inclement weather, the program will remain open until one hour after school is dismissed. A limited number of drop-in spaces are available at the discretion of the Director. To use these spaces, call the school office by 1:00 p.m. for your child to attend.

Participation in the Extended Day Program is flexible, with choices for a variety of combinations of morning and afternoon times and for early dismissal days. To participate in the Extended Day Program, children must be registered in advance. Payments are due on the 15th of the month for the following month.

All payments are non-refundable and credits cannot be given for missed days. Enrolling your child(ren) for the Extended Day Program reserves the time, space, staff, and provisions for your child whether or not he/she attends.

Note: Policies stated in the School Handbook apply to the Extended Day Program.
