POST VIRTUS TRAINING Volunteer Opportunities
Our school deeply values the partnership between our families, faculty, and parish community. There are many meaningful ways to get involved throughout the year - both within the classroom and at the school-wide level. Your time and talent help us create a vibrant, supportive environment where students can grow spiritually, academically, and socially.
Lunch and Recess Volunteers
We always welcome reliable volunteers to assist with lunch and recess supervision. Volunteers help monitor students in the dining hall and on the playground, creating a safe and enjoyable environment during the school day. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with children and can commit to a consistent schedule; however, occasional availability is also welcomed and appreciated!

School and Parish Events
Volunteers are essential to the success of our many school and parish events. These events celebrate our students and strengthen our school community.
In addition to school-day activities, St. Bridget School hosts a variety of family-friendly social events designed to foster community and connection. These events are not necessarily only fundraisers; they are planned simply to offer memorable experiences for our families.
Some of our signature events include, but are not limited to, our:
-
Annual Golf Tournament
-
Halloween Trunk or Treat
-
Scholastic Books Fairs
-
Students' Christmas Shopping Bazaar
-
Annual Spring Auction
-
Easter Bunny Brunch
-
Grandparents'/Special Persons' Day, and more...
Additionally, you may have the opportunity to serve as a room parent for your child’s class. Room parents work closely with teachers to help coordinate classroom activities and special celebrations; however, final decisions regarding room parent needs are made by our educators.
Our Home and School Association (HSA) is another excellent avenue for involvement. This dedicated group of parents and guardians plays an active role in organizing events, supporting teachers, and enriching the overall school experience. We encourage you to visit the Home and School Association's webpage regularly for updates on upcoming events and the volunteer opportunities available after completing your Virtus training: https://sites.google.com/view/sbshsa/sbs-hsa
Whether you’re able to lead an event or lend a helping hand, your support is what makes these gatherings possible - and special!
