This Week at SBS: Play Day & Goodbyes
Last Day of School for SBS!!!
SBS completed its last day of school on Friday, June 12th. We wish to thank our entire faculty, staff and students for all of their hard work and dedication to keeping our teaching and learning of standards and curriculum alive and thriving during this most difficult time. Our success has been a direct result of our school’s faith in God. He has shown us every day what we can accomplish any and all challenges set before us as a team.
We would especially like to thank Mrs. Marilú Rochefort, our Interim Principal, for bringing us to a successful end of the year. Having held a teaching position, a position as Assistant Principal, and most recently as our Interim Principal, Mrs. Rochefort has worn many hats and contributed greatly to our school and community. Mrs. Rochefort will now be moving on to Southern Connecticut State University as Assistant Director of Educational Services, but she will always remain here in our hearts. Please join us in wishing her every success in her new role.
We would also like to give thanks to Ms. Margaret Sheehy, Mrs. Anne Wysowski, and Miss Alison Gibney, Mrs. Lucinda Burkhard and Mrs. Jane McDuff for their contributions to our school. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors and hope to see them soon!
Play Day Fun!
We might not have been on our beautiful campus, but we still held our annual Play Day! Students met via Zoom meetings to hold Minute-To-Win-It challenges as well as have just plain old fun. We love to learn, but we love our Play Days!
Dr. Testa, our new Principal, and the entire SBS team are excited to prepare amazing learning experiences for our learners for the upcoming school year. We are happy to share that we continue to enroll students every week. Please contact us for more information on our curriculum and the admissions process.
On behalf of the Faulty, Staff and Students of St. Bridget School, we wish you all a safe and healthy summer!
Principal: Dr. Nancy Testa
