Welcome Sixth Graders!
Welcome to sixth-grade! My name is Mrs. Nott and this is my first year teaching at Saint Bridget School. I have previously taught as a music teacher (Pre-K through 8th grade), directed children’s choirs, and provided individual and group counseling for students. I feel greatly blessed to begin my classroom teaching career here as a member of the St. Bridget School family. When I’m not at school, you can find me cantoring at our 4:00 Saturday and 11:00 Sunday masses at St. Bridget Church, playing with my sixth-month old son, Benjamin, cooking, or watching the Yankees beat the Red Sox.
In Language Arts and Literature this year, we will dive into several wonderful novels, get to know the parts of speech, write, write, and write some more! (Don’t worry, we will make it fun!) It is my goal that throughout the course of this year, each one of us (me included!) grows closer in our relationship with our Heavenly Father as we explore our call to live as students, sons, daughters, and friends in Christ.
"What I like about St. Bridget School is the teachers because they make me feel very welcome and safe. I like the teachers because they are caring and compassionate with their students. I like the staff at Homework Club, Extension, and at lunch because they also make me feel like I belong in a family. I love that we are able to go to mass as a whole school and pray for people who need our help."
"What I love most about being a student at St. Bridget School is that we get to practice our faith in class. Also, I love that we support a lot of different charities. There are many wonderful teachers."
