Hello Spring! I can not believe we are already in the month of April! We have accomplished so much since August! I am so proud of each and every student! We are really focusing on Kindergarten readiness! 🙂

We will continue exploring the “I Am Special” curriculum along with “Our Gospel Weeklies” and “Seeds”books.
Each day we will spend time going over gifts God has given us. We will express our love for him in many ways throughout the day! As a class, we will be attending school mass every Friday morning. This month we will focus on the God’s creation and the life he has given us! We will incorporate the season of spring as well!
Technology
There is technology all around us here in Pre k! Students are exposed to different learning activities each day on the Smartboard during morning meetings. Along with this students will to explore different styles of learning through IPads and a weekly visit to the computer lab.
Center/Table Activities
This month we will be finishing up our letters of the week and explore our last letter Z! We have finally made it to the end! We also will continue working on letter sounds and mastering our fine motor skills of writing out both upper and lower case letters! We also will be exploring more sight words!
This month in math we will continue to master the formation of making numbers 1-20 along with visiting simple addition and subtraction problems. Students will see the difference if each with numbers becoming larger and smaller.
Social Studies/Science
This month we will focusing on the season of spring. We will be very involved with nature and the world around us! Students will complete multiple activities using our imagination and objects that we see everyday!
Parent/Teacher Communication
Communication is very important to me in our classroom. Each day you will receive and email about how your child is doing and a fun fact about our day! Each Friday an email relating to “What Happened This Week in Pre K” will be sent.
