Welcome to Second Grade!
Welcome to second grade! Second grade is a year filled with adventure and learning. We will be reading and writing every day, learning new and exciting math concepts, and practicing our faith! As the year goes on we will be becoming more independent and responsible! We are going to do our best to be Bucket Fillers every day and show kindness to all!
I joined the St. Bridget team in 2018. Prior to joining SBS I attended Sacred Heart University in Fairfield and received my Bachelors in English and stayed there to receive my Masters in Elementary Education. During my time at Sacred Heart, I volunteered in numerous districts around SHU, had two different student teaching placements, and taught a summer enrichment program. I am currently enrolled at Central Connecticut State University to receive my Cross Endorsement Certificate in Special Education. Aside from teaching, I have played softball my whole life, and am the former middle school head coach at Amity in Bethany.
