A Special WELCOME to our new Pre-K Parents!

We hope everyone is enjoying a wonderful summer.  We are greatly looking forward to meeting all of your children for our upcoming school year-2010-2011.

There will be two Pre-K classes next year.  Your child will receive a letter in August informing them which class they will be in.  We will also have two “Open House” days for you and your child to visit their classroom and get acquainted with their new teacher and peers if you choose.

The days are August 25 from 8:30-10:00 a.m. or August 26 from 4:00-5:30 p.m.  These will be short, informal sessions.  Please do not be concerned if you are unable to attend either of these sessions. We will be happy to address any of your concerns or questions throughout the summer.  If you would like a callback from either of us, please call the school 203-272-5860 and leave your phone number and a brief message and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

A Pre-K booklet with our classroom policies will be given out to you on these “Open House “ days or can be given to your child on the first day of school. Important reminder: Pre-K students bring in their own lunch each day.  Money will be collected at the beginning of the school year for a snack that the school will provide each day. (Allergies will be taken into consideration, of course.)  The school will order mats for ‘rest time’ and the parents may reimburse the school for this amount on the “Open House’ days.  More info to follow regarding the cost.

Our first day of school will be on Wednesday, September 1. This will be a full day of school.  Please remember to provide your child’s lunch on this day also.
