This month for faith we will focus on giving back to our community. Each week we will complete a craft for a member in our school! Students will be given the chance to recap how they have helped or want to help the world around us!
This month we will continue to explore on the Ipads along with our Smartboard during morning meetings and circle time. Students will be given the time to master the skill of the keyboard/mouse in the computer lab!
Our handwriting has improved greatly! Students have become so independent and love participating in writing activities! This month we will continue to work on this along with exploring CVC words. Students will be given visual cues and their skill of letter sounds to put together a word. We also will be exploring story telling. Students will be able to create their own story and share it to their friends!
This month in math we will continue to explore numbers 11-20. We also will have some fun with simple subtraction problems and what it means to “take away”. This month we will also take a look at different types of graphs such as a picture graph.
For science this month, we will spend time observing and recording the growth of our plants. Students will draw what they observed day one along with its ends result. We also will be using our imagination and learning about clouds. Students will be able to go outside and share what they see in the clouds! This month we are going to set aside time for the ones we love! A special someone will be invited to come into our class to read a special story to our friends!
Communication is very important to me in our classroom. Each day you will receive and email about how your child is doing and a fun fact about our day! Each Friday an email relating to “What Happened This Week in Pre K” will be sent. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email me at any time at TLamattina@StBridgetSchool.org!
