This month we will continue to explore on the Ipads along with our Smartboard during morning meetings and circle time. This month we will be begin visiting the computer lab where they will become familiar with the keyboard and mouse! Students will be able to explore on Starfall.
We are so close to the end of the alphabet! This month we will explore with letters W, X, Y and Z! At the end of month, students will be able to create a project at home where they are to choose their favorite letters and items that begin with this letter! Along with our letter of the week, we will be focusing on upper/lower case proficiency.
This month in math we will spend time revisiting our fine motor skills in writing out our numbers 1-10. We will also be going back to practicing adding two one digit numbers together and using different manipulates to do so! We also will continue exploring with our different shapes!
In honor of Dr. Seuss birthday in March we will be learning and reading some of his finest work! Students will listen to his different stories and learn a little bit about him! At the end of the month, students will get to choose their favorite book of his and tell their friends why it is their favorite! Students will also learn about the holiday. St. Patrick’s Day. Students will create different crafts and learn songs to celebrate this holiday!
Communication is very important to me in our classroom. Each day you will receive and email about how your child is doing and a fun fact about our day! Each Friday an email relating to “What Happened This Week in Pre K” will be sent.
