This year our Pre K students will be exploring the “I Am Special” curriculum along with “Our Gospel Weeklies” and “Seeds”books.
Each day we will spend time going over gifts God has given us. We will express our love for him in many ways throughout the day! As a class, we will be attending school mass every Friday morning.
There is technology all around us here in Pre k! Students are exposed to different learning activities each day on the Smartboard during morning meetings. Along with this students will to explore different styles of learning through IPads and a weekly visit to the computer lab. Parents, if you could provide headphones for your child with their names on them that would be great!
A great portion of our day is set aside for centers. This allows students to explore and reinforce previous concepts. This is a time where students work on their social skills along with communication. It is a great time to express creativity and play!
Here in Pre K we are exposed to many different thoughts of math! Students work on mathematical concepts and vocabulary such as Geometry, Data Analysis, Measurement, Numbers, Patterns, and Operations. Everyday students are around a concept of math!
Pre K is time for students to explore! Our classroom is designed for students to be able to investigate and question along with learning about our world and those around us!
Communication is very important to me in our classroom. Each day you will receive and email about how your child is doing and a fun fact about our day! Each Friday an email relating to “What Happened This Week in Pre K” will be sent. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email me at any time at TLamattina@StBridgetSchool.org!
